International Business Roaming

SB Telecom offers its customers the latest voice roaming services.

SB Telecom is offering LTE NB-IoT and LTE-M roaming for Internet of Things and machine to machine networks. The greatest advantages of this technologies are its low energy consumption and its high building penetration.

SB Telecom already offers NB-IoT (Narrow Band – Internet of Things) technology to provide LTE to LPWA (Low Power Wide Area) networks, and LTE-M is coming soon for our strategic roaming partners.

SB Telecom is working with the company Clear to use blockchain technology to automate and simplify our wholesale roaming discount billing process. Huge improvements have been made in terms of accuracy and efficiency, while providing our partners with a completely safe working environment. The next steps include developing monthly billing and payment systems using blockchain distributed ledger technology. The SB Telecom network currently has 17 partners and is aiming to acquire 50 more by the end of 2021.

There are two ways to implement 5G: standalone and non-standalone.

While standalone represents an independent 5G network from start to finish, non-standalone is based on the core LTE network and the 5G radio network. That’s why our customers can benefit from the speed of tomorrow’s technology today. We also ensure that the roaming operation runs smoothly so that our customers can actively use 5G technology as soon as possible.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, mobile network providers around the world have suffered massive roaming losses, as both business travel and personal travel almost ceased to exist for over a year. This is why SB Telecom is launching a new IoT detection tool that mobile network providers can use to monetize IoT roaming traffic.
